ats Ladeborn, Director for Nuclear Development of Vattenfall, has been elected President of FORATOM, succeeding Ralf Güldner.
Mr. Ladeborn has worked for the nuclear industry since 1982 when he joined the Swedish energy company Vattenfall. Currently Director for Nuclear Development , he was previously acting head of Vattenfall’s nuclear activities - including eight subsidiary companies, nine reactors and more than 4,200 employees. He was also a plant director for seven years (Ringhals unit1 Nuclear Power Plant), and before that, led one of the biggest I&C modernisation programmes in a nuclear power plant worldwide.
In parallel to his responsibilities as FORATOM President, he is also the President of the Swedish Atomic Forum (SAFO).
He has a Master’s education in Technology Management from the Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg.
